The remnants of Hurricane Jeanne interacting with two frontal boundaries in the region caused torrential downpours to occur during the late afternoon and evening of the 28th. Doppler Radar storm total estimates averaged between 4 and 8 inches with the highest amounts in the northwest part of Philadelphia.
