Moisture from the remnants of tropical storm Bonnie moved northward into the region and interacted with a frontal boundary over the region. This resulted in several rounds of heavy rain on the night of the 29th and the early morning of the 30th. Rainfall totals ranged from 3.09 inches at the GOES gauge at Pohopoco Creek to 2.3 inches at the Northeast Philadelphia ASOS. Other totals included 1 inch near Deer Lake and 2 inches near Bensalem.
