The remnants of Hurricane Odile moved northeast out of the eastern Pacific and brought in a deep layer of moisture to the region. Slow moving storms with very heavy rain helped to produce almost 4 inches of rain in portions of El Paso County. Numerous reports of flash flooding were received across El Paso with firefighters responding to over 100 weather-related incidents.
