A cold front moved through Maine on the afternoon of April 27th. Low pressure developed on the front along the coast of Maine late in the day and produced copious amounts of rainfall across the area into the morning of the 28th. Rainfall amounts of over 4 inches were common in Waldo and Knox Counties.
