A band of showers and thunderstorms were localized over the downtown and bay front areas of Corpus Christi on the evening of October 11th. Heavy rainfall amounts between 3 to 5 inches occurred. This produced flooding of roads in the downtown area with water depth up to a foot in places. Some damage occurred to motorcycles at the American Bank Center where Bike Fest was being held.
