Thunderstorms with torrential downpours caused urban and poor drainage flooding as well as flooding of creeks in southeastern Ocean County from Berkeley Township south through Eagleswood Township. Doppler Radar storm total estimates reached 5 inches. Most of the rain fell within 90 minutes. The worst reported flooding was in Stafford Township as many roads were flooded.
