An upper level storm system moved across north Texas on the 21st and 22nd of the month. Cold air filtered in on the 21st, while moisture returned on the 22nd. A few areas reported sleet and freezing rain, with minimal impacts. While the main focus was light accumulations of sleet, most areas in north Texas also received rainfall. Some of the rain led to traffic accidents due to hydroplaning.
