Rapid snowmelt of 1-2 feet of snow combined with heavy rainfall of over two inches to produce significant flooding. Nearly four hundred homes were damaged by flood waters. There were road closures and evacuations in Wellsville. Power and municipal water supplies were cut for several hours.
