Multi-cell severe thunderstorms developed through the evening and spread progressively from the northwest to the southwest across Upstate South Carolina. Damaging winds blew down trees and power lines in all locations listed above. Some of the highest winds may have occurred at Inman where the roof of a manufacturing plant was removed by the wind.
