Rainfall of around eight inches caused many roads in the east part of the county to become impassable. The rains started around 800 am and continued into the afternoon. Many of the roads remained closed until the early evening hours. The hardest hit areas were Nettleboro, Scyrene and Chance. Most of the roads that had to be closed were dirt roads.
