Heavy rains of 2 to 3 inches in the 24 hour period ending at 0500CST on the 17th resulted in closure or Highway 59 on the west side of the city of Waukesha. Water covered the road to a depth of 1 to 2 feet. Elsewhere... Ocnomowoc Lake exceeded its natural banks due to drainage in its watershed. Nearby parking lots and other lowland grounds were flooded. Rural farm land also sustained some soil erosion and crop damage.
