A narrow band of very heavy rainfall amounts, around 5 inches in 5 hours, occurred from near Fulton to Paducah. Widespread flooding of roads and creeks resulted. Sandbagging minimized flood damage at a local auto parts store. Creeks overflowed into at least one home and one business in Hickman County. Several highways were covered by floodwaters.
