Rainfall of up to 13 inches west of Llano County on the Llano River watershed caused widespread flooding in both Llano and Burnet Counties. The river rose to a crest of nearly 31 feet in the city of Llano, highest since 1980. All river crossings were flooded through the mid afternoon. The flood wave continued through Lake LBJ and passed downstream, inundating all facilities near the river. Commercial boat docks were washed downstream, some as far as a mile away.
