Rain, very heavy at times toward noon on the 19th, caused considerable highway and poor drainage flooding as well as flooding of some of the smaller creeks in Lehigh County. So many roads were barricaded that getting from one place to another was described as impossible. Major roadways flooded included Pennsylvania State Route 309 and U.S. Route 22.
