From Friday morning November 8 to Saturday morning November 9, a slow moving low pressure system tracked from northern Pennsylvania to northern New York. This system produced 2 to 4 inches of rain across much of the northern Catskills, which caused the Schoharie Creek to flood in Schoharie, Schenectady and Montgomery Counties.
