Heavy rain fell in the morning of March 1, the afternoon of March 1, and again during the overnight of March 1 to 2. This resulted in repeated episodes of flash flooding. Homes were flooded near Preston, Olympia, State Valley, and Wyoming. 24 Hour rainfall amounts in Bath County exceeded 9 inches.
