Flash Flood — Cape Girardeau, MO

Slow-moving showers and thunderstorms dumped heavy rain over southern Bollinger and Cape Girardeau Counties. The heaviest rain, which radar estimated to be around 3 inches, fell between Zalma and Delta. Several primary and secondary roads were water-covered and impassable. In Cape Girardeau County, flooded roads included County Roads 222 and 231, County Road 214 at Williams Creek, and Highway F.
