An isolated severe thunderstorm developed over Wichita County during the late afternoon of the 3rd resulting in wind damage and flash flooding. The roof was blown off at Git-N-Go Texaco on Kell Boulevard in Wichita Falls. Numerous power poles, trees and power lines were also downed across the city. One tree fell on a car. Damage was also reported at Midwestern State University, training camp of the Dallas Cowboys, where several bleachers, tents and fences were damaged. The most widespread damage
