Numerous thunderstorms developed across portions of northwest and north central Oklahoma during the afternoon and early evening of the 13th. In addition to numerous reports of large hail, flooding was reported across portions of Alfalfa and Grant Counties. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain fell across northern Alfalfa County resulting in flooding and many road closings in and around Cherokee.
