Northwest and west-central Missouri were battered by three separate rounds of thunderstorms on June 27 and 28. The first cluster of storms moved through on the morning of the 27th, producing isolated incidents of wind damage. During the afternoon, storms continued to redevelop over northeastern Kansas and track eastward into west-central Missouri.
