Several rounds of thunderstorms led to significant river flooding along many river in southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa during the early part of June. The first episode of heavy rainfall came during the early morning hours on June 4th when thunderstorms lifted north across southeast Nebraska into southwest Iowa to the north of a warm front.
