In a northwest flow aloft, clusters of showers and thunderstorms formed during the evening hours on the 12th. Storms were along a weak front, and ahead of a weak low pressure system in southern Ohio. The clusters of showers and thunderstorms became aligned northwest to southwest along the flow. Two distinct areas of heavy rain occurred. One was over eastern Wood County around Mineralwells during the evening of the 12th. The other area was toward dawn on the 13th over the headwaters of the E
