A cold front moved into South Texas during the early morning hours of May 21st. Early morning thunderstorms produced flash flooding in the Laredo area. Scattered thunderstorms formed along the cold front during the afternoon over the coastal plains. The storms produced flash flooding in the Coastal Bend during the afternoon. Roads were flooded in Corpus Christi, Portland, Gregory, and Port Aransas.
