Areas of low pressure moving along a stationary from northwest Missouri across central parts of Illinois and Indiana produced several rounds of thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rainfall. The ground was extremely saturated, so flash flooding rapidly developed with rainfall amounts only approaching 2.00 inches. Several locations in central and east central Illinois reported flash flooding from the late morning through the early evening hours of June 26th.
