Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms affected southeast Alabama on April 1st. Flash flooding occurred across portions of Dale, Geneva, and Houston counties with several roads closed. This heavy rainfall fell on top of the heavy rain that occurred on March 31st, aggravating the flooding conditions.
