With warm, humid air in place, the passage of an upper air disturbance initiated scattered showers and thunderstorms across the region. Some of these storms reached produced damaging wind gusts that downed trees and power lines. Hail up to one-half inch in diameter was reported near Lakeville in Livingston County.
