A washed out frontal boundary brought an area of showers and thunderstorms into eastern Kentucky this afternoon and evening. This cluster of storms generated high enough winds to produce wind damage in Monticello, while also causing flash flooding near Science Hill in Pulaski County as it slowly drifted east after midnight.
