Flash flooding impacted parts of southwest Wisconsin during the early morning hours of September 7th. Thunderstorms with heavy rain dumped 4 to 7 inches of rain that caused flash flooding in Vernon and Richland Counties. Sidie Hollow Campground near Viroqua (Vernon County) had to be evacuated. Sandbagging took place in Yuba (Richland County) to protect houses from flooding on the Pine River.
