Flash flooding impacted parts of southeast Minnesota during the early morning hours of September 7th. Thunderstorms with heavy rain dumped 4 to 7 inches of rain that caused the flash flooding in Fillmore and Houston Counties. A mudslide near Brownsville (Houston County) sent boulders tumbling down the side of a bluff and into a house causing significant damage.
