Two lines of severe thunderstorms moved across western Wisconsin during the afternoon and evening of May 17th. This was the third day in a row that severe weather impacted the area. The storms primarily produced damaging winds, but also dropped one tornado. An EF-1 tornado moved across southern Trempealeau County east of Galesville and damaged farm buildings and trees.
