An abnormally high snow pack melted with the warmer temperatures in June and brought flooding along the Middle Fork of the Popo Agie River. The river gauge in Sinks Canyon was above flood stage for a few weeks. However, most of the flooding remained over low lying areas near the River and caused little or no property damage. Some trails in Sinks Canyon Park were closed at times due to high water however.
