Thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall that caused flash flooding across Johnson, Magoffin, and Morgan counties during the late afternoon and early evening hours of July 28th, 2017. The hardest hit areas were Cannel City and Adele in Morgan County where multiple roads were flooded, several water rescues occurred, and structures were inundated.
