An upper trough moving toward the Aloha State from the northwest acted on a pocket of low level moisture moving through the islands to produce heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly affecting Oahu and the Big Island of Hawaii. A flash flood also occurred over the southeast portion of Oahu, where two individuals were rescued from the Palolo Stream. However, no significant injuries or property damage was reported.
