Multiple rainfall events during the early days of May caused flooding in Calumet County and Manitowoc County. Water began to over-top Shoto Dam on the West Twin River in Manitowoc County and there was some concern that the dam could fail. The Calumet County Sheriffs Department reported several road closures across the county due to flooding or washed out roads.
