Thunderstorms moved east along a stalled out frontal boundary through central and east-central Wisconsin during the morning and early afternoon hours. 1 to 3 inches of rain fell during the morning and afternoon hours. There were multiple reports of flash flooding with streets flooded, businesses and residents evacuated, and some water rescues from stranded motorists. Northeast winds backed up the Fox River and exacerbated the flooding as rainfall could not drain into area rivers efficiently.
