Strong to severe thunderstorms developed during the afternoon of the 7th along a stationary frontal boundary that extended across northeastern and central Oklahoma. These storms moved southeast across northeastern Oklahoma during the afternoon and early evening hours. The strongest storms produced damaging wind gusts. Locally heavy rainfall resulted in some flash flooding in Tulsa County.
