A cold front interacting with an unseasonably warm and humid airmass sparked an area of showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening of the 26th. Though these storms were mainly below severe limits, one storm produced minor damage in Saratoga County. The storms did produce heavy rain, with one report of a road closure due to flash flooding in Dutchess County.
