Low pressure tracked from the Gulf coast through the southeastern states initiating a prolonged period of moderate to heavy rain across parts of several counties, mainly in the Dan River basin. Some minor stream flooding occurred in Rockingham and Caswell counties, although no gaged locations reached flood stage.
