A low pressure system moved through the Ohio River Valley on the 12th and 13th, bringing a period of moderate to heavy rain to southeast Ohio. Generally 1 to 2 inches of rain fell on already saturated soils, which led to minor flooding in several areas. Local rivers were still running high from previous flooding, and this rainfall led to renewed flooding along the Muskingum and Hocking Rivers.
