A series of storm systems tracking along a nearly stationary frontal boundary brought copious amounts of rain to southeast Illinois from February 5th through 7th. Two to four inches of rain fell along and south of the I-70 corridor...with 3.29 being reported 3 miles west of Birds in Lawrence County.
