Thunderstorms developed during the afternoon and evening hours as an upper level low pressure center and a dryline approached from the west. Storms continued overnight as a cold front swept across the region. Hail was the primary severe weather occurrence in the afternoon and evening; while damaging winds were the primary occurrence overnight.
