Flash Flood — Cabarrus, NC

Scattered clusters of heavy rain showers and thunderstorms developed in the vicinity of a stationary front across western North Carolina throughout the 13th. Repeated movement of showers and storms resulted in flash flooding developing across Cabarrus County beginning in the morning. Meanwhile, an isolated supercell thunderstorm produced large hail and isolated damaging wind gusts across Burke County during the afternoon.
