Showers and thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall and flash flooding from the afternoon of June 19 into the nighttime hours. Rainfall amounts of 3 to near 6 inches were reported in the counties of Gloucester, Camden and Burlington. Significant flash flooding occurred in those counties. A state of emergency was declared by Governor Phil Murphy.
