Severe thunderstorm winds developed from Lake Cumberland into the Bluegrass region, as well as farther east to near Salyersville this afternoon and early evening. Damage included several downed trees, one of these falling onto a house near Somerset. An out building was also destroyed in Fleming County. Multiple rounds of heavy rain led to an instance of flash flooding near Somerset.
