A long-lived bow echo quickly became less organized as it moved southeast across parts of southeast Missouri. Before weakening, the line of storms caused strong to isolated damaging winds in places west through north of Cape Girardeau. The line of storms weakened as it moved south of the better mid-level wind fields.
