Light south to southwesterly flow across the region with abundant tropical moisture allowed showers and thunderstorms to develop over the interior. Theses storms moved into the east coast metro. With the slow storm motion heavy rainfall produced flooding in Lauderhill. One of the strongest storms produced gusty winds bringing down tree limbs and causing damage in Palm Beach.
