Afternoon thunderstorms were able to develop along the sea breezes along both coast in the afternoon. Environmental parameters were favorable for increased instability with stronger down burst wind and hail potential across the region. Some of the strongest storms brought hail, flooding and dangerous lightning to portions of Miami-Dade County.
