With remnant moisture over the western part of the Aloha State (from a departing Tropical Depression Erick southwest of the state), an upper level disturbance triggered showers and thunderstorms over portions of Kauai. The precipitation generated flash flooding in the northeast section of the isle, in Anahola and Kapaa. There were no reports of serious injuries, however. The costs of any damages were not available.
