Flash Flood — Essex, NJ

A weak wave of low pressure offshore combined with a warm front lifting north through the region resulted in the development of widely scattered showers and thunderstorms west of New York City. While overall storm coverage was low, these storms resulted in isolated reports of flash flooding in parts of urban northeast New Jersey.
