A strengthening low pressure system and cold front brought a widespread soaking rainfall to the region from the afternoon hours of Wednesday, October 16th through the morning of Thursday, October 17th, 2019. Prior to the cold frontal passage, winds became strong, resulting in a few reports of trees and wires down. Fortunately, only minor flooding occurred due to dry antecedent conditions.
